OPPO Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max Launched in India at Rs. 1,39,999: 8,000mAh and 200MP Zoom
OPPO launched the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max in India on 22 October, and the most important number on either sheet is not 200 megapixels. It is the price. The Find X10 starts at Rs. 1,39,999, where last year's Find X9 launched at Rs. 74,999. The Pro Max comes in a single configuration at Rs. 1,99,999, where the Find X9 Pro launched at Rs. 1,09,999. In return OPPO has put an 8,000mAh battery in both, a 200MP main camera in both, a 200MP periscope in both, and a third 200MP camera in the Pro Max. Pre-orders are open, and open sale starts on 29 October. These are now Rs. 1.4 lakh and Rs. 2 lakh phones, and they have to be judged against everything else at that money, including their own predecessors.

2 phones, 5 200MP sensors, and 1 price ladder that moved.
The Find X10 is the smaller phone: a 6.59-inch screen, 216g, and MediaTek's Dimensity 9600M. The Pro Max is the bigger one, 6.78 inches and 233g to 235g, on the Dimensity 9600 Pro, which is built on a 2nm process to the X10's 3nm. Both carry 12GB of RAM, both run ColorOS 17 on Android 17 out of the box, and both are rated IP66, IP68 and IP69, which covers dust, submersion and high-pressure hot water jets.
The cameras are where OPPO spent its press release. The Find X10 pairs a 200MP main camera with a 200MP periscope, both stabilised, and a 50MP ultra-wide. The Pro Max swaps that ultra-wide for a third 200MP sensor. Third-party launch coverage puts the periscope at 2.8x on the X10 and 3x on the Pro Max; OPPO's own India spec sheet does not state the factor. Both also carry a 3.2MP multispectral sensor, which reads the colour of the light in a scene and does not take pictures, so neither phone is a quad camera in any sense a buyer would use. Both get a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus.
The battery grew more than the phone did.
8,000mAh in both. The Find X9 carried 7,025mAh and the Find X9 Pro 7,500mAh. OPPO now lists 8,000mAh as the typical figure for both new phones, with rated capacities of 7,770mAh and 7,790mAh, and the India units match China's rather than the smaller European Pro Max cell. That is roughly 1,000mAh more in the base model at 216g, against 203g for the Find X9. For a phone that has to carry 2 big 200MP sensors as well, that is a real piece of packaging.
The camera sheet, rewritten. The Find X9 had 3 50MP cameras. The Find X10 has 2 200MP cameras and a 50MP one, and the selfie camera goes from 32MP to 50MP. The Pro Max moves from the Find X9 Pro's 50MP, 50MP and 200MP to 200MP across the board. Megapixels are not image quality, and we have not shot with either phone, but a 200MP periscope on the cheaper model is the change that matters most on paper: it is the lens that decides how a zoomed shot holds up.
What did not change. Charging stays at 80W wired and 50W wireless on both. The screens still run at up to 120Hz in everyday use; the new 144Hz mode works only in supported games. And the Pro Max drops from the Find X9 Pro's 16GB of RAM to 12GB.
Rs. 65,000 more than the Find X9. That is the headline.
The Find X9 launched in India in November 2025 at Rs. 74,999. The Find X10 launches at Rs. 1,39,999 for 12GB and 256GB, and Rs. 1,69,999 for 512GB. That is Rs. 65,000 more for the entry model, an 87% jump in a single generation. The Pro Max at Rs. 1,99,999 sits Rs. 90,000 above the Find X9 Pro's Rs. 1,09,999 launch price. The box MRPs are higher still, Rs. 1,79,999 and Rs. 2,39,999, but those are printed ceilings, not what anyone pays. On 23 October the open-market pre-order listings matched the launch prices.
The launch offers are a bank cashback of up to 15%, an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 8,000 and a pre-order gift box until 28 October. They are offers, not prices, and they depend on your card and your old phone.
What that price buys you into is a crowded room. At Rs. 1.4 lakh the Find X10 sits beside the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which listed between Rs. 1,29,000 and Rs. 1,40,000 on 23 October, and well above last year's Galaxy S25 Ultra at Rs. 91,000 to Rs. 97,000. The vivo X300 Pro, the closest camera-first rival, was about Rs. 1,20,000; our vivo X300 Pro review weighs it. And at Rs. 2 lakh the Pro Max is in foldable territory: the vivo X Fold 6 launched at Rs. 2,19,999.
The camera buyer with the budget, and nobody in a hurry.
If your next phone is chosen on its zoom lens and its battery, and Rs. 1.4 lakh is inside your budget, the Find X10 is the more interesting of the 2. It has the same 200MP periscope idea and the same 8,000mAh as the Pro Max, in a smaller, lighter phone, for Rs. 60,000 less at the base price. Match the storage and the gap is Rs. 30,000, because the 512GB Find X10 is Rs. 1,69,999. For that, the Pro Max adds a 200MP ultra-wide, a 2nm chip, a bigger screen and a brighter f/2.1 periscope against the X10's f/2.6. On paper that is a lot to pay Rs. 30,000 for, and only the zoom buyer will feel the aperture.
One gap to know before you pre-order: we could not find an India software update promise for either phone in OPPO's published material or in launch coverage. OPPO's "smooth for 6 years" line is a claim about performance, not about Android upgrades or security patches. At this price, the years of updates should be written down, and until they are, we would not assume them.
Nobody needs to buy in launch week. Sale opens on 29 October, independent testing will follow, and the price of a phone that jumped this far in one generation is worth watching for a month.
We have not used either phone. This launch report is based on OPPO India's published specifications, India launch coverage and live retail listings checked on 23 October 2026.
